What a great experience working with Nick and his crew at Marathas carpeting! Nick found us a beautiful carpet in our price range and delivered on time. His team of installers were all very professional and neat. The carpet process was the simplest part of our basement renovation. Highly recommend Marathas Carpeting!

"Best home project experience ever! My husband and I recently refinished the lower level of our ti-level split and we wanted to put carpet down for the flooring. Our first stop was Home Depot in Avon, but trying to schedule a time for them to come out to measure was a nightmare. Our basement contractor recommended that I call Nick at Marathas Carpeting and we could not be happier that we did!
I called Nick on a Wednesday mid-morning, and he came out to measure the room that same night! I went into his showroom the next afternoon and he helped me pick out a carpet for the room - making sure to keep my budget and the wall color of the room in mind. Then, he called the distributor of the carpet that I picked out, and was able to rush the order so that it could be installed the following Thursday. My husband and I were thrilled with this, as we had family coming in for the long holiday weekend (Columbus Day). Imagine my surprise and excitement when Nick called me on Monday afternoon to see if they could install the carpet on Tuesday instead! Of course, I said yes!
Nick's employees were on time, courteous, and - most importantly I think - professional and efficient workers! They didn't waste time and they cleaned up after themselves. He doesn't use random workers to complete his jobs, but instead uses employees that he knows and trusts and because of this, I felt safe bringing them into my home.
Our carpet looks incredible and feels even better! We are thrilled with the service and product that we got from Marathas Carpeting and recommend to absolutely anyone who needs to have carpet installed in their home. You will not find better customer service or a better quality product anywhere - such a high value at a perfect price!"

"I had the unfortunate experience of a flood in my finished basement in February. As if it wasn't bad enough, our carpet had been less than 1 year old and already patched once, so we had put a lot of time, effort and money into that basement - which was all thrown out the window when the flood happened.
When I got the chance to try again, I decided I didn't want to go with one of the big-box stores again for my carpet. I wanted to choose a high quality, reasonably priced, reliable local company to give my money to and hold accountable this time around.
After shopping around, I can truly say there was no one who made me feel as confident and assured as N J Marathas. The owner, Nick, personally assisted us in our carpet selection and ordering. When we had a concern after the installation, Nick personally came to our home to review the job and send his installers back in to make sure we were 110% satisfied. He also helped us by providing a service to add edging to extra carpet pieces that we could use as door mats and an area rug for another room.
I would not hesitate to recommend N J Marathas to anyone looking for a new carpet, and I'm sure I will be back for future carpeting needs!"

"Marathas Carpet (Nicky and crew) were amazing! We had a leak from our bathroom into our basement and our beautiful wall to wall carpet was distroyed. I had heard such great things about Nicky from others in Canton and gave him a call. He came over the next day and what a surprise, he had done the carpet that was originally here for the previous owners of our home! I had an upcoming family party in 2 weeks and he said, ill take care of you. He meant it. Within a week of picking out the carpet (we picked out the same style as before since it was very nice and practical for a basement), his crew was at our house. The rug looks amazing, I couldnt be happier. Everything we heard about Nicky was true..he is an honest, very down to earth, does amazing work and will bend over backwards for a customer. "I have been a very satisfied customer of Marathas Carpeting for over 2 years. Not long after buying our home in Canton we had a pipe burst in our finish basement and had to start from scratch. Nick Marathas was a pleasure to deal with from minute one. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and takes pride in personally ensuring you are truly satisfied. The carpet was perfect for our finished basement and was installed beautifully in a very timely manner. When we decided to put a runner up our stairs my first call was to Nick. He was so helpful and thorough and even took the time to bring multiple samples over to our home. We recently had some water in the basement after a serious storm. Nick personally came to our home THAT morning, pulled back the wet section of carpet to ensure the water damage wouldn't spread and help us prevent against mold. Marathas Carpeting has incredible selection and a very fair price but it is the personable service I have received that ensures I would never look elsewhere for rugs and carpet."

"I had NJ Marathas install carpeted in my new Man town last year, the installer Brad was very professional and did a outstanding job, we were very satisfied with the carpet install. One year later while giving the man town its weekly cleaning,I was vacuuming and a strand of carpet got caught up in my vacuum leaving a very noticeable 1foot area of missing carpet. I called NJ Marathas spoke with the receptionist, explained to her in detail of the damage that I caused, she then said that she would relay this message to NIck. NIck called back that same day to see if I was available, about one hour later two installers stopped by to assess the damaged area. They spent approximately 30 mins repairing the carpet for me at no charge. I was amazed how fast they repaired it and amazed on how good it looks again. I wish more companies could conduct business as well as NJ MArathas does, outstanding service, I would highly recommend this company."

"I had a great experience with Marathas Carpeting. I went in to get a ballpark idea of cost with pictures of the stairs that I needed to have carpeted. I spoke with Nick, showed him the pictures and explained my budgetary constraints. He came out to measure 15 minutes later and gave me an OUTSTANDING quote that was much less than expected! He made sure that the carpet would meet my needs and my budget. Nick was fabulous to work with! The carpet was installed a week later by two professionals that were friendly, prompt and knowledgable. "I purchased a runner from NJ Marathas and had it installed in December. I live in a very old house that has a hallway that wraps around the upstairs, taking many sharp turns and curves. The installation team cut the rug and installed it to absolute perfection. Also, the hallway is not completely straight as it is an older house, but you would never even know based on how the rug was cut. The installation team spent two days cutting and installing the rug so that it was perfect. The rug quality is outstanding! I am new to town and so when I was looking for a carpet store, I asked for recommendations on a local Facebook page. I immediately had about 25 recommendations for NJ Marathas Carpeting and I'm so glad I went with them. Nick, the owner, was amazing to work with and was so respectful of my budget. "I had a wonderful experience with this company! They were timely, professional, and detail-oriented. I had runner carpet placed on two staircases (mostly so my adorable corgi could get his little legs to walk up and down without slipping). The workman showed up on time and did wonderful work-they even refused a tip! The in-store customer service reps obviously know their trade. I also typically hate review sites because it's always such negative reviews.....Well, this is my first review ever because working with Nicky was so great. It was easy, he had the estimator come out at night time when I was home so I didn't have to take time off just for that. The estimator was extremely nice, presented options of colors and padding. "My husband and I were sent to NJ Marathas upon a recommendation when we were looking to carpet our attic for a game room. We didn't want to spend time and wasted money on high end carpet with no one to call and ask questions to before, during and after. Upon walking into the store we were greeted with open arms and welcomed to browse or ask questions. I had never bought carpet before and I had about a thousand questions; and Nick kindly answered all of them. We had a bit of miscommunication and during installation where I was confused, upset and annoyed; but Nick quickly helped me to resolve the small issue. He got a great carpenter to come out within 48 hours to shave down our room/closet doors. That moment could have gone in a sour direction, but Nick did everything he could to help immediately and we are now loving our new carpet/rooms. I would highly recommend them and will definitely be calling them in the future.
